Physicochemical properties and thermal behavior of nitrocellulose granules with eutectic mixtures of stabilizers

Abstract Examinations of two-component mixtures, namely: triphenylamine + centralite I (TPA CI) and akardite II AkaII) were carried out using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), which served to determine phase diagrams. Experimental data described with NRTL model eutectic points for both systems determined. For TPA CI system, they equal x Eu,TPA = 0.2899, T Eu 62.9 °C, whereas AkaII system amounted 0.7868, 117.5 °C.
